| Blocking Chat Messages | Unblocking Chat Messages | Chatting with Windows Live Users | If You Use Yahoo! Messenger |
When you’re ready to chat with someone who found their way onto your blocked list, remove his or her Yahoo! ID from the list and chat away. You can do this through your Yahoo! Messenger desktop client or Yahoo! Messenger Mobile for Web. This tutorial shows you how to unblock people through the desktop client.
Open Yahoo! Messenger on your computer.
Select Preferences from the Messenger menu.
In the Preferences window, click the Ignore List category.
On the right side of the window, click the name of the person you want to remove from the list, then click the Remove button.

Click the OK button to close the Preferences window.
You can now chat with that person in Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger.
