Deleting an Account From Yahoo! Mail

If you no longer want to use an external account for sending or retrieving messages through Yahoo! Mail, you can delete it from your account list.

 

Here’s How

  1. Go to the Mail Accounts page in Yahoo! Mail. (Remind me how.)

  2. Select the mail account that you want to delete, then click the Delete button.

    Select the mail account, then click the Delete button.

  3. When prompted, confirm that you do want to delete the account.

    Yahoo! Mail confirms that it has deleted the account.

    Yahoo! Mail confirms that it has deleted the account.

 

What’s Next

You can always add an account back to your Yahoo! Mail account if you find you’d like to send and retrieve messages from that account again.
