| Overview | Using a Web Browser | Using the Yahoo! Toolbar | Using an Email Application | Forwarding Mail |
You can forward your incoming Yahoo! Mail Plus email messages to another email address—even another Yahoo! Mail address. If you have more than one email account, forwarding lets you receive and work with all of your messages in one location.
While your email is being forwarded, new messages won’t appear in your account on the Yahoo! Mail server. (Messages that came into your mailbox before you turned on email forwarding do remain in your account.) This means that you can’t read new Yahoo! Mail through a browser at the Yahoo! Mail web site. (Of course, if you’ve forwarded to another Yahoo! Mail address, you can read that mail at the Yahoo! Mail site.)
Notes: You can’t use an email application as described in the previous task and forward your email at the same time.
Filters are not applied to your forwarded mail.
(More Details)
In a browser, go to the POP Access & Forwarding page. (Remind me how.)
On the POP Access & Forwarding page, make sure that the radio button in front of the Forwarding option is selected.

Type the email address to which you want to forward your Yahoo! Mail.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
You may be asked to verify the forwarding email address that you’ve entered. If so, follow the onscreen instructions for verification.
After you’ve verified the forwarding address, remember to sign into your other email address to read your Yahoo! Mail messages!
To turn mail forwarding off, return to the POP Access & Forwarding page, and select the Web & POP Access option. This clears the forwarding email address from the Email Address box. You can now view your messages through a web browser or an email application.
Of course, you can forward your external email accounts to your Yahoo! Mail account and manage it all in through the Yahoo! Mail web site. We cover this in the Accessing Other Email Accounts tutorial.
