Accessing Mail With the Yahoo! Toolbar

If you have installed the Yahoo! Toolbar for the Internet Explorer browser on your computer, you can use it to easily access your Yahoo! Mail account. In this case, the Internet Explorer browser is your web-based mail client.

The Yahoo! Toolbar accesses the Yahoo! Mail server as a web-based client.

 

Here’s How

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.

  2. Click the mail button in the Yahoo! Toolbar.

    Click the mail button in the Yahoo! Toolbar.

    The Yahoo! Mail sign-in page appears in the browser.

  3. To sign in to your Yahoo! account, enter your Yahoo! ID and password, then click the Sign In button.

    Enter your Yahoo! ID and password on the Yahoo! Mail sign-in page.

    Your personal Yahoo! Mail Welcome page now appears in the browser.

 

What’s Next

From your Yahoo! Mail page, you can read and organize incoming email messages, as well as send email and manage your account.
