Printing Your Address Book

You can print your address book so that you have a hard copy for safe keeping. You can also print address labels for contacts whose details include a physical address.

 

Here’s How

  1. Click the Tools button and select Print.

    Select Print from the Tools button.

    The Printing Preferences page opens.

  2. Choose whether you want to print your entire address book or a category (be sure to select a category from the pull-down list).

    Select a print option.

  3. Choose your layout.

    Choose your layout.

    • Hardcopy versions—viewed and printed from your browser window.

      • Detailed view—includes all details for each contact in either your entire address book or the selected category. This is a good choice for your hardcopy version.
      • Basic view—includes the full name, nickname, Yahoo! ID, company, email address, and primary phone number. A good choice if you need an abridged hardcopy version.
    • Address labels—viewed and printed from Adobe Reader. Only contacts with physical addresses are included.

      • Avery 5162 2 column address labels
      • Avery 5160 3 column address labels
  4. Click the Display for Printing button.

    Click the Display for Printing button.

    Hardcopy versions display in your Web browser and address labels display in Adobe Reader.

  5. Print your address book using the print option on the browser or Reader.

 

What’s Next

If you don’t have Adobe Reader, you can download it by clicking the Get Adobe Reader button to the right of the Print button.

Click the Get Adobe Reader button.
