Exporting Contacts
You may have other address book applications that you like to use. You can export your contacts from Yahoo! Contacts into the following applications and have the same information in all the address books you use.
- Outlook Express
- Microsoft Outlook
- Palm Desktop
- Netscape Address Book
- Yahoo! CSV
Here’s How
Click the Tools button and select Export.
The Export page opens.
Click the Export Now button to the right of the application to which you want to export your contacts.
Tip: If you want to export to your Palm Desktop application, click the Export Now button to the right of vCard Single File.
Type the visible text into the Type the code below box, then click the Export Now button.
Depending on your operating system, one or more messages appear prompting you to specify a file name and location for the export file.
Specify the file name and location, then save the file.
To complete the export process, follow the instructions for the application to which you want to export your contacts. To view the instructions, click the icon next to the Export label, select the application from the list, then follow the instructions.
