If you know any bit of information about a contact that you’ve added to his or her details, you can use that information to find the contact.
Open Yahoo! Contacts. (Remind me how.)
Type any information you currently have for the contact in the search box at the top of the list.

For example, you can search on the first name, last name, or nickname. You can search on an address or phone number...any information you have.
As you type, Yahoo! Contacts begins offering search results. The more you type, the narrower the search results become.

Select a contact from the search results to see the details for the contact.
To clear the search results (maybe to do a different search), click the X in the search box.

If you have many contacts, you might find it useful to group them into categories. Categories are a great way to view sets of related contacts. To learn more, take a look at the Organizing Contacts Using Categories tutorial.
