Accessing Mail With the Yahoo! Toolbar

If you use Internet Explorer or Firefox as your web browser, installing the Yahoo! Toolbar on your computer lets you access your Yahoo! Mail account easily.

The Yahoo! Toolbar accesses the Yahoo! Mail server as a web-based client.

 

Here’s How

  1. Launch the Internet Explorer or Firefox browser.

  2. Click the Mail button on the Yahoo! Toolbar.

    Click the Mail button in the Yahoo! Toolbar.

    The Yahoo! Mail sign-in page appears in the browser.

    Tips:

    If you are already signed in to the Yahoo! Toolbar, the sign-in page does not appear, and you can skip step 3.

    If you don’t see the Mail button on your Yahoo! Toolbar, you may need to edit the Apps that the Toolbar displays. Click here for more information on how to do this.

  3. Type your Yahoo! ID Yahoo! email address and password, then click the Sign In button.

    Type your Yahoo! ID and password on the sign-in page.

    Tip: If you don’t have a Yahoo! ID, you can sign up for one on the sign-in page.

    Your personal email page appears in the browser.
