Subscribing Using an Email Address

If you know that your friend has shared a calendar or list or made it public and you want to include it in your Yahoo! Calendar, you can use your friend’s email address to find the item and add it to your Calendar.

Here’s How

  1. In Yahoo! Calendar, click the plus sign (Plus sign) to the right of Subscribed, then click the Add a friend’s calendar button in the Subscribe to calendar window.

Click the Subscribed add button and then click the "Add a friend’s calendar" button.

The Subscribe to Calendar page opens.

  2. Type your friend’s full Yahoo! email address in the box, then click the Continue button.

Type an email address in the box.

The page updates to show the calendars and lists shared by this person if he or she is sharing.

  3. Select the item you want to add to your Yahoo! Calendar from the pull-down list.

Select the item you want to add.

  4. Type a display name for the item and select a color, then click the Save button.

Type a display name and select a color.

Subscription calendars appear below the Subscribed heading on the left and to do subscriptions appear in your To Dos list on the right.
