What Are My Subscription Options?

You can view calendars shared by your friends or made public by other people by subscribing to the calendars.

  • Through an email message: When a friend shares a calendar or to do list with you specifically, you’ll receive an email in your Yahoo! Mail. Just click the link to add the item to your Yahoo! Calendar.

  • Using an email address: Supply the email address of a friend who has shared a calendar or made it public. We’ll find it and you can add it to your Calendar.

  • Using an iCal address: Provide the iCal address (similar to a Web address but includes the .ics formatted file) for a public, view-only calendar, and we’ll add it so that you can add it to your Calendar.

What’s Next

When you subscribe to a calendar or list, you aren’t opening your calendars or lists up for public viewing. You’re only adding someone else’s calendar or list to your Yahoo! Calendar where you can view and sometimes edit it.
