Exporting a Calendar or To Do List to Share

Some of your friends may be using other calendar applications. If your friend is using an application that recognizes the iCal format, you can export your calendar or to do list as an .ics file and let her subscribe to your view-only calendar or to do list.

Here’s How

  1. Click the Actions button, then select the Export option.

Select the Export option from the Actions button.

    The Export window opens.

  2. In the Export window, select the calendar or to do list that you want to export, then click the Save button.

Select a calendar or to do list from the pull-down.

A window appears in which you can open or save the ics file.

  3. In the window that opens, select the option that allows you to save the file to your computer.

Note: The look of the window may vary depending on your browser, your computer’s operating system, and the display settings you use. Also, depending on your browser, you may be asked where you’d like to save the file.

  4. Locate the file and send it to your friends (via email, text message, however you like).
