Sharing a Calendar With the Public

You can share your calendar with the public by making it available as a Web link. Anyone who knows the URL can open your view-only calendar.

 

Here’s How

  1. Display the Share window. (Remind me how.)

  2. Select the calendar that you want to share (you cannot publicly share to do list).

    Select a calendar from the pull-down.

  3. Choose the Share with everyone option, then click the Continue button.

    Choose Share with everyone, then click the Continue button.

    The Edit window opens.

  4. Choose the Allow anyone to access this calendar option in the Public Access screen.

    The URL for the calendar displays below the option.

  5. Click the Save button.

  6. Send the URL to your friends (via email, text message, however you like).

    Your friends can use the URL to see your view-only calendar in their Web browsers. All of your other calendars remain private unless you decide to share them.

 

What’s Next

To stop sharing a calendar with the public, return to the Public Access screen and choose the Disable Public Access option.
