Picture this. You’re dressed for a fabulous evening of dining and theater when your best friend shows up in jeans holding two tickets to the sporting event of the season! Oh no, somebody forgot to coordinate calendars. Or, you both show up for the sporting event and find out that one of you forgot to buy the tickets!
With Yahoo! Calendar, you can share calendars and to do lists and always know what’s on in your lives. With the add/edit permission, each of you can add and edit events and items ensuring that you’re keeping the same schedule and lists.
Note: You should only share with folks you really know, not with people you’ve barely met. Even with people you know, be thoughtful before providing them with access to your personal information, especially where you’ll be at specific dates and times. Even if you’ve shared a calendar or to do list, you can change your mind and hide the item from everyone or just a specific person. To learn more about our safety recommendations, click here.

What does a View and Edit permission allow?
The View and Edit permission allows a Yahoo! user (users of other accounts can see but not edit your calendar) to add and edit events in the calendar and items in the to do list that anyone sharing the calendar or list will see. The permission doesn’t allow a person to share the calendar or list with others. Only you as the owner can share these.
By the way, your calendar color and name are unique in your Yahoo! Calendar and can’t be changed by those you share the calendar with. Of course, they can change the calendar’s color and give it a different name in their own Yahoo! Calendar. They can also change the list name in their environment.
How do I remove someone from the share list?
To stop sharing with individuals, return to the Sharing & Permissions screen and click the minus button to the right of their email address.

Click the Save button and the calendar or list disappears from the person’s view the next time he or she opens or refreshes Yahoo! Calendar.
