Editing an Event

You can quickly change the date of an event by dragging it to a new location. To edit any other details, open the event editor and make your changes.

 

Here’s How

  1. To change the event’s date in the day, week, or month view, drag the event to its new date.

    Drag the event to a new date.

    Tip: In Month view, you can drag an event to a new date within the month, and the time remains the same. If you want to drag it to a new time within a day, open the event editor and make your changes.

  2. To edit an event’s details, click the event to open the event editor and make your changes.

    Tip: If this is a repeat event, you can choose to edit all events, this event only, or this and future events.

What’s Next

When an event is cancelled, remove it from your calendar.

 
 
 

Words to Know

  • Drag and drop: the ability to move an object from one place to another by placing the cursor over an object, pressing the left mouse button, dragging the selected object to another location, and releasing the mouse button.
