When a friend shares a calendar or to do list with you specifically, you’ll receive an email message in your Yahoo! Mail. Just click the link to add the item to your Yahoo! Calendar.
In Yahoo! Mail, look for a subject line that reads something like Someone has shared a calendar with you (slightly different for lists), then open the message.
If you want to add this calendar or list to your Yahoo! Calendar, click the Add this calendar or Add this to do list link.

Yahoo! Calendar opens with the Subscribe to Calendar page displaying the new calendar or list.

If you like, change the display name and, if it’s a calendar, select a color from the pull-down list.

Tip: The original name remains the Shared Calendar or Shared To Do List name and the From value lets you know who’s sharing this calendar or list.
Click the Save button.

If the subscription is a calendar, it’s added below
the line in the Calendars list (where all
of your subscriptions display).
If it’s
a list, the list is added to your To Do panel.

If you have edit permission, you can add and edit events in this calendar or add and edit to do items in the list.
