Searching for a Bookmarked Page

Do you have a lot of pages in your Yahoo! Bookmarks? Find them easily using the search feature. Yahoo! Bookmarks searches through folder names, tags, notes, page titles, and page content (if you saved a copy), so you can see how useful it is to add all of these descriptive properties to your bookmarks.

Here’s How

  1. In the My Bookmarks tab, type one or more words in the search box, then click the Search bookmarks button.

Type one or more words in the search box, then click the Search bookmarks button.

Words to Know

  • Copy: the content of a page as you saw it the moment you added the page to your Yahoo! Bookmarks. Some web sites change the content of their pages on a regular basis. By saving a copy of the page when you bookmark it, you can always view the original content as well as open the live content.
  • Tag: a word or group of words that you apply to a bookmarked page and then use for searching purposes.
