When you first set up Parental Controls for the members of your household, you probably assigned one of the predefined access levels to each person, based on that person’s age. In many cases, using the default access levels works just fine. However, you may decide that you want to customize the Parental Controls for a member of your household.
Tip: Before you try to view or customize any Parental Controls settings, be sure that you’re signed in as the Primary Member for your household’s Yahoo! account. Only the Primary Member can change Parental Controls settings.

Go to the Parental Controls main settings page. The current overall settings for your household members are displayed here.
Click on the name of the person whose detailed settings you want to view. The Settings page appears for that person. It shows you the person’s current access level and an overview of the restrictions in each settings area (Web Filter, Email, Messenger, and Yahoo! Services).
From here you can change the overall access level for this household member. You can also customize any of the following aspects of the person’s Parental Controls settings:
