Adding a Contact

You can add a contact to your Yahoo! Address Book through Messenger’s Address Book.

Tip: When you add a contact to your Messenger List as described in the Adding Contacts to Your Messenger List tutorial, you’re also adding the contact to your Yahoo! Address Book.

 

Here’s How

  1. In the Messenger window, click the Address Book button (The Address Book button).

  2. Begin adding a contact to your Address Book in one of the following ways:

    • Click the Add a Contact button.

      Click the Add a new contact button.

    • Select Add a Contact from the Contacts menu.

    The Add a Contact window opens.

  3. In the Add a Contact window, enter information in at least one of the required fields indicated by *.

  4. Enter information in any of the other tabs, then click the Save & Close button.

    Messenger displays the new contact in the Messenger Address Book and updates your Yahoo! Address Book.
