Getting to Mail

Getting to Mail is easy. All you need is a computer with an Internet connection and an AT&T email address. This page shows you how to open Mail in a Web browser. If you’d like to know how to open Mail in another online email application or a desktop application, take a look at the Opening Mail Classic Your Way tutorial.


Here’s How

  1. Open a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

  2. Type the following address (URL) in the browser’s address box, then press the Enter key:

    The Mail sign in page opens in the browser.

  3. Enter your Yahoo! email address (for example, and password, then click the Sign In button.

    Type your AT&T email address and password, then click the Sign In button.

    The Mail home page opens in the browser.

    Note: If your mail home page has tabs labeled What’s New and Inbox at the top, you’re using the new Mail instead of Mail Classic. Click here to go to the tutorials for the new version of Mail.
