Signing In
You can use the AT&T Yahoo! Browser without signing in, but to take full advantage of the Browser's features, you must sign in to AT&T Yahoo!. When you are signed in, you will see these additional features:
- Quick access to all of your AT&T Yahoo! services including your AT&T Yahoo! Mail, AT&T Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Search, and much more.
- AT&T Yahoo! Sidebar, which gives you personalized AT&T Yahoo! content wherever you are on the web.
- The option of signing in to all of your services with a single sign-in process.
The first time you launch the Browser, enter your sign-in information in the Sign-In window.
Here's How

Launch the Browser.
The first time you launch the Browser, it displays the Sign-In window, and your Member ID should be listed. Click your Member ID and skip to step 3.

If you do not see your Member ID on the list, click the Other Users button.
The Sign-In window displays the sign-in form on the right.

Enter your Member ID and password, check or uncheck the boxes for the options you want to apply or disable, and then click the Sign In button.
The first time you sign in, the Auto Import Address Book and Bookmarks prompt appears.

If you want to import your address book or bookmarks from other applications, click the Yes button. The imported information will be available to you only, not to other Browser users.
If you do not want to import your address book or bookmarks from other applications, click the No button, and skip steps 5 and 6.
If you click the Yes button, the Import window appears.

Check the box next to the items you want to import. (If you are importing Netscape bookmarks, select your Netscape profile from the list.) Then click the Start Import button.
A progress indicator appears for each option you selected to be imported.

When the message indicates that the import is complete, click the Done button.
The Browser appears, and you are signed in.

The next time you launch the Browser, the Sign-In window appears automatically displaying your name in the Sign In List on the left.

Select your name, and enter your password.

If you checked the box next to Save My Password, the Sign-In window automatically fills in your password. Just click the Sign In button.

If you check the box next to Sign In to Messenger, the Sign-In window automatically signs you in to AT&T Yahoo! Messenger as well as to the Browser.

If you are not the master account user, you are considered a guest. After you sign in and check the Add my ID to the Sign In List option, your name appears on the sign-in list.

- Address Book: a listing of people and their email addresses associated with each AT&T Yahoo! Mail account.
- Bookmark: a link to a web page that is stored with a browser. Select a bookmark to go directly to the designated page.
- Import: to receive data into one program from another.
- AT&T Yahoo! Messenger: a web-based tool that allows you to chat with one or more people over the Internet in real time (instantly); sometimes referred to as "instant messenger" or "IM".
- Sign in: enter your Member ID and password to identify yourself to the network and to gain access to your personal information.
