Overview

AT&T Yahoo! Photos is a service that allows you to view your digital photos, organize them into albums, and share them with your friends. The Photos Sidebar module lets you to do all this from the Sidebar without opening the full AT&T Yahoo! Photos application. In fact, adding photos is much easier with the Photos Sidebar module, because you can drag and drop them directly from your computer's file system.

The Photos Sidebar module has two views:

  • Collapsed as a mini-module

    The Photos mini-module

    The Photos mini-module appears as a button that you can click to make Photos the active Sidebar module.

    Tip: If you drag photos to the Photos mini-module, Photos becomes the active module.

  • Expanded as the active module

    The active Photos module

    When Photos is the active Sidebar module, it displays one of your photos. You can view your photos one at a time or in a slideshow.

 

Here's How

  1. Open your Browser, sign in to AT&T Yahoo!, and make sure that the Sidebar is open and that Photos is the active module.

  2. Click one of the buttons at the top of the Photos Sidebar module to:

    Previous Photo button Previous Photo - Displays the previous photo in the album.
    Play Slideshow button Play Slideshow - Displays all of the photos in the album as a slideshow.
    Next Photo button Next Photo - Displays the next photo in the album.

You can drag and drop photos onto your Photos Sidebar module.

  • Active module: the module currently displayed in the active content area of the AT&T Yahoo! Sidebar.
  • Album: a container within AT&T Yahoo! Photos for organizing image files.
  • Mini-module: an application module that can be displayed in the AT&T Yahoo! Sidebar.
  • Module: a small version of an AT&T Yahoo! service that can be displayed in the active content area of the AT&T Yahoo! Sidebar.
  • Sidebar: a customizable area in the AT&T Yahoo! Browser or Internet Explorer where you can display information or applications that you use often, such as AT&T Yahoo! MailAT&T Yahoo! Messenger, and AT&T Yahoo! Photos.
  • Slideshow: a self-running presentation that displays larger versions of the photos, one at a time, on an AT&T Yahoo! Photos page.
