Using the Search Tool

The search tool on the AT&T Yahoo! Toolbar allows you to search the Internet without leaving the web page you are visiting.

Here's How

  1. In the text box of the search tool, enter the word or phrase you want to find.

  2. To search for anything on the web that contains that word or phrase, click the Search Web button.

    The search results appear on a web page.

  3. To search for the word or phrase in certain types of files on the web, click the down-arrow on the Search Web button, and select the type of information you want to find, such as images or news.

  4. To repeat a web search you performed in the past, click the down-arrow for the search field, and select the word or phrase you want to find again.
