Interacting With Other Sidebars

When you take certain actions, another sidebar might replace the AT&T Yahoo! Sidebar. For example, when you click the Search button on the Internet Explorer toolbar, the Yahoo! Search sidebar appears. When you click the Media button on the Internet Explorer toolbar, the Windows Media sidebar appears. In addition, some applications automatically launch their own sidebar.

After you finish using the other sidebar, you can redisplay the AT&T Yahoo! Sidebar.

 

Here's How

  1. Select AT&T Yahoo! Services > AT&T Yahoo! Sidebar from the Browser's Tools menu.

    Select the AT&T Yahoo! Sidebar menu item to display the Sidebar

 

What's Next

You can start using the Sidebar modules as soon as they appear on the Sidebar.

 

Words to Know

  • Sidebar: a customizable area in the AT&T Yahoo! Browser or Internet Explorer where you can display information or applications that you use often, such as AT&T Yahoo! MailAT&T Yahoo! Messenger, and AT&T Yahoo! Photos.
  • Toolbar: a row of buttons across the top of the browser window that you can click to perform various tasks.
