Flagging Messages

AT&T Mail lets you flag messages for follow-up. For example, you might flag a message to remind yourself to reply to it later. Then you can sort the messages in your Inbox or other folder by the flag column, moving all of the flagged messages to the top.

Here’s How

  1. In your Inbox or any other folder, click the dot that appears in the flag column for the message you want to flag.

Click the dot for the message you want to flag.

  2. The flag icon appears in the flag column for that message.

  3. To flag an open email message displayed on its own tab, click the More Actions button, and select Flag for Follow-up from the pull-down menu.

Click the More Actions button, and select Flag for Follow-up.

What’s Next

To remove the flag from any message, simply click its flag, or select the message, click the More Actions button, and select Clear Flag from the pull-down menu.

Tip: Click the gray icon at the top of the flagged column to sort all your flagged messages together at the top (or bottom) of the message list.
