Creating a New Folder

To make your mail easy to manage, att.net Mail lets you create as many personal mail folders as you want. Personal folders help you organize incoming and outgoing messages in ways that make sense to you.

Here’s How

  1. On the folders list on the left side of your att.net Mail page, click the Add link next to Folders.

Click the Add link to begin adding a new folder.

A new folder appears in the Folders list with the default name "untitled", and it is selected.

A new untitled folder appears in the Folders list.

  2. Type a name for the new folder, and press Enter or click outside the name box.

Type a name for the new folder.

Tip: Folder names can include letters, numbers, and the hyphen (-), space ( ), and underline (_) characters only.

The new folder appears selected on the Folders list in alphabetical order.

The new folder appears in the Folders list.

Note: It’s not possible to create subfolders (that is, folders within folders).

What’s Next
