Additional Personalization Options

AT&T Mail is ready to use as soon as you sign up for it. But there may be a few things that you’d like to add or change about your email environment, beyond adding a signature to your outgoing messages or changing the color of your Mail page. For example, you might want to set up an "on vacation" or "out of the office" message to go out as an automatic response when you’re not around to read your email.

You can make all these customizations on the Options pages.

 

Here’s How

  1. Select Mail Options from the Options menu.

    Select Mail Options from the Options menu.

    The General options page appears.

  2. Take a look at the available options on the General options page.

  3. You can also view other sets of options by selecting any of the links in the left pane of the Options page.

  4. Familiarize yourself with the customization possibilities by clicking through the choices on each options page. If you decide to change the setting for an option, don’t forget to click the Save Changes button before returning to AT&T Mail.

    Click the Save Changes button.

Words to Know

  • Signature: a short text file that you create for AT&T Mail to attach to the end of your outgoing email messages. The file might contain your name, position, a favorite quote, or whatever you want to convey with every email message you send.
