| Adding Sub Accounts | Accessing a Sub Account’s Mail | Suspending Sub Accounts |
Yahoo! allows you, as a primary member, to add up to ten sub accounts (also known as member accounts) to your primary account. Each sub account is a fully functional, stand-alone Member ID, with its own att.net Mail mailbox.
There are several reasons for creating sub accounts:
To provide separate email accounts for all members of your household.
To allow each member of your household to have his or her own att.net Home Page.
To protect your "real" att.net Mail address by using an alternate mail account for some email transactions. (AddressGuard is probably a better solution for this use. See the Using Disposable Addresses tutorial for information about AddressGuard.)
Make sure that you are signed in to Yahoo! as the primary account holder. Only the primary member can create sub accounts.
Click your name or Yahoo! ID at the top of the page, then select Yahoo Account Info from the menu.

Note: You may be asked to enter your Yahoo! password again at this point for extra security.
The Member Center Home page opens.
Each sub account that you create has most of the same att.net Mail features as the primary member’s account, including an inbox, Yahoo! Contacts, and calendar that are accessible from any web-connected computer.
