While working in your Yahoo! Address Book, you can send an email to one contact or to several contacts. No need to switch to the Mail tab.
To send an email to one contact:
In your Contacts tab, find the contact you want to email, then click the email address.
Tip:Only the primary email address displays on the Contacts page, and this is the only address you can send to from within your Address Book.

The Compose page opens with the contact’s email address automatically listed in the To box.

Compose and send your message as usual.
To send an email to several contacts:
In the Contacts tab, check the box next to the name of each contact you want to email, then click the Send Mail button (don’t click the arrow to the right of the button when sending an email).
Notes:
Each contact you select must have an email address listed in their contact information.
You can send one email to contacts listed on the same page. If they span several pages, you must send multiple emails (one for each page of selected contacts). If you often email the same group of people, why not put them into a category (similar to a distribution list) so that you can send one email to the category?

The Compose Message page opens listing all of the selected contacts, and gives you an opportunity to remove contacts from this specific email.
If you like, uncheck the boxes next to contacts you decide not to include in the email, then click the Compose button.

The Compose page opens with the To box automatically listing the email address of each contact selected from the category.
Compose and send your message as usual.
You know you have a friend listed in your Address Book, but you can’t find the contact information. Yahoo!’s search tool can help you.
