Once you share disposable addresses with people or businesses, you can expect to get messages sent to those addresses instead of your "real" Yahoo! Mail address. When you open an email message, you’ll see which address the sender used on the message’s To: line.

If you want to see which of your email addresses senders use without opening individual messages, you can set up your mail folders to show recipient information, including disposable addresses.
Select More Options from the Options menu.

The General options page appears.
On the right side of the page, select Show a "To" column in my Inbox & other folders.

A new column now appears in your Inbox and other mail folders, showing which of your email addresses received each message.
Click the Save Changes button.

Click the Back to Mail button to return to Yahoo! Mail.

A new column now appears in your mail folders showing which of your email addresses received each message.

Tip: When the display of the (To) recipient column is turned on, this column appears in all your received mail folders except the Spam folder.
To hide recipient addresses again, repeat steps 1-4, this time selecting Don’t show a "To" column.

In addition to using disposable addresses for messages your receive, you can also send messages using disposable addresses.
