You can customise Yahoo! Toolbar by adding Apps and setting your toolbar preferences. The decision you need to make is whether you want your customisations to remain on your local computer where you’ll see them each time you open your browser, or you want to save them to your Yahoo! ID so that you can use your personalised Toolbar when you sign into Yahoo! on any computer and use a browser with the Yahoo! Toolbar installed.
Note: Yahoo! always asks you to sign in when accessing private content such as email and your profile. When you sign in, you won’t see your customised buttons if you’ve elected to save them to your computer. If you want to have an App available whether or not you sign in, add it to your toolbar both when you are signed in and when you are signed out.
Sign in to your Yahoo! account. (Show me how.)
Click the settings button (

On the right side of the settings page, select an option under Save Layout Preferences.
