Alternate posting address for message posts
- On any of your groups' pages, click Manage My Groups.
- Click Email Preferences.
- Next to your subscribed email address, click Edit.
- In the "Alternate Posting Addresses" field, enter your additional email address.
- Click Save.
Keep in mind that you might have an alternate email address already filled in even if you didn't enter one since Yahoo Groups automatically sets an alternate address when you reply to your confirmation email when you first joined your group if possible and if necessary.
For example, if you subscribed using the address "Joe@companyname.com," you might see an address like "Joe@mail.companyname.com" listed as your alternate email address after you reply to the confirmation email. Since some email systems send messages from a specific mail server on your company's network, Yahoo Groups automatically detects this and fills it in as the alternate address so that you won't have any problems posting from the address you subscribed with.
