What's in the Java Support Report?

Use the Java Support report to show how many of the visits to your web site come from Java capable browsers. It is important to note that there is a difference between between Java and JavaScript. Knowing if your users come from Java capable browsers allows you to make an informed decision about whether or not to use Java technology when designing your web site.

For each Java capable browser, the report displays the following:

  • the number of visits from enabled/disabled Java Support browsers
  • the percentage of visits enabled/disabled Java Support browsers

Information Displayed in the Report

By default, this report displays a graphical illustration of the number and percentage of visits that are associated with visitors' browsers that support the Java environment. The level of detail that displays in the graph varies and is based on selections in the settings panel. It also provides a table that displays the actual number and percentage of visits from Java capable browsers.
