What's in the Operating Systems Report?

Use the Operating Systems report to lists the operating systems used by your visitors. It provides valuable information if you design software for download, run certain applications (DirectX, ActiveX, DHTML, AVI, etc.), or want to tailor your site to a certain platform. This data allows you to make an informed decision on whether or not to develop your programs or pages for a specific operating system.

For each Operating System, the report displays the following:

  • the number of visits
  • the percentage of visits

Information Displayed in the Report

By default, this report displays a graphical illustration of the number and percentage of visits that are associated with the operating systems used by visitors to your site. The level of detail that displays in the graph varies and is based on selections in the settings panel. It also provides a table that displays the actual number and percentage of visits from visitors and the specific operating systems they used to get to your site.

Accessing the Operating Systems Report
