It depends on the report!
If you’re looking at the Sales Details report, available under Reports - Marketing - Sales, you will see sales in the currency in which they were made. If you’re looking at any other report, than you will see your sales in the reporting currency.
When using Yahoo! Web Analytics, you can employ the following types of currencies:
- Tracking Currency: As you can only track the revenue of your online purchases in the currency in which they were made, that becomes your tracking currency. To set the tracking currency, you must place the appropriate three-letter currency abbreviation directly in front of the revenue amount, if constant, or, directly in front of your shopping cart revenue variable. See also How do I track sales and revenue on my website?
YWATracker.setAmount("EUR300.00"); The Sales Details, available under Reports > Marketing > Sales, report will always display tracked sales in the tracking currency.
- Project Default Reporting Currency: This allows you to specify your project default reporting currency. All your campaign costs and sales figures except the ones in the Sales Details report, available under Reports - Marketing - Sales, will be converted to this currency. Yahoo! Web Analytics uses monthly average exchange rates to convert the campaign costs and sales figures into the project default reporting currency (e.g., your annual revenue displayed in your project default reporting currency is calculated by multiplying the monthly figures obtained in the tracking currency with the monthly average exchange rates).
- User Specific Reporting Currency: This allows you to select at a user level the currency you want displayed in your reports, which might be different from the default currency of your project. If you enable this setting, all your reports except the Sales Details report will be displayed with your selected currency.
