Use the Add Funds page to make an initial deposit to a new account that has not been activated or to add additional funds to your existing account balance. From the Add Funds page, you can also select a different payment method than previously selected.
To fund your ads, you must keep at least one payment method on file for your account. This payment method can include certain credit cards or a PayPal account. Then, when your funds run low, we can automatically charge your designated payment source to keep your account online and help minimize the risk of your ad not being displayed due to lack of funds.
.To add funds to your account:
Click the Administration tab > Accounts subtab.
If you have a single account, the Account Summary page opens.
If you have multiple accounts, the Accounts page opens. Select an account link to open the Account Summary page for the appropriate account.
Locate the Billing and Payment Information panel and review your Account Balance.
Click the Add Funds link in the Account Balance field to add additional funds to your account using your existing payment method. The Add Funds page opens.
Click the Add/Edit Payment Method link to add a new payment method or edit your existing payment method. The Payment Information page opens.
Select a Payment Method from the dropdown list. You can use certain credit cards or PayPal to fund your ad account. Specify which Payment Method you will be using on an ongoing basis every time your balance is low.
Select a Credit Card to indicate you will be using a credit card to fund your account.
Select PayPal to indicate you will be using this online payment service to fund your account. You are directed to a PayPal page. Create a new PayPal account or log into an existing one. Once you create or log into your PayPal account, review the information on the page and then click I Accept. Continue to Yahoo! to authorize your account funding.
In the Amount to Charge field, enter the amount that you would like to add to your account balance. This is the amount that your payment method (Credit Card or PayPal account) will be charged.
Click Submit. Your payment method will be charged and your account balance will be updated to reflect the additional funds.
Note: Your account balance is low if it falls below the prior 3 days worth of click charges. The prior 3 days worth of click charges or 3 times your Account Daily Spending limit, whichever is lower, must be available in your account at all times in order to keep your ads online.
Note: In order to avoid multiple charges per day, the Amount to Charge value should be at least as much as your Daily Spending Limit. However, to keep your account online, we recommend that you choose an amount at least three times your Daily Spending Limit.
