Replace an article

You have reached the maximum number of saved articles. Your oldest saved article will be replaced with the new one.

Use the Dashboard to view summaries and graphs of your account statistics and to see a snapshot of your account’s overall state. If you have access to more than one account, you can view the Dashboard for all of your accounts. It displays alerts, performance data, and graphs, as well as the campaigns, ad groups, and keywords on your watch list. The Dashboard provides convenient access to your campaigns, ad groups, and keywords so that you can view details or make changes. Sign into your account to view the Dashboard.

Creating Campaigns

To create a campaign:

  1. Click the Dashboard tab. The Dashboard page opens.
  2. Click the Create Campaign button. The Create a Campaign page opens.
  3. Follow the instructions in the Create a Campaign page to create a new campaign.

Viewing Alerts

Alerts are displayed in the Alerts panel on the Dashboard. Select the View All link to view all alerts in your account, or use the dropdown list to select the type of alert to view. Select any alert in the Alerts Panel to view detailed alert information and to take any necessary action.

Viewing Performance Graphs

To view a performance graph:

  1. Click the Dashboard tab. The Dashboard page opens.
  2. Set the date range for your performance graph using the calendar.
  3. Select the type of graph to view from the Graph dropdown list in the Performance tab of the Account Information panel. You can view the following graphs:

Viewing Account Summaries

To view your account summary:

  1. Click the Dashboard tab. The Dashboard page opens.
  2. Select the Account Summary tab in the Account Information panel to view a summary of your account. (Note that if you are viewing the Dashboard for multiple accounts, the Account Summary tab is not available.) You can view the following information:
    • Total Keywords - View the total number of keywords in your account and the maximum number of keywords allowed for your account.
    • Account Daily Spending Limit - View the account daily spending limit for your account. Select the account daily spending limit link to change this amount.
    • Account Balance - View your account balance. Select the account balance link to change this amount.
    • Note: If you are due a promotional 'Sign Up' credit, a "credit pending" note will appear in the account balance field. Your account must be active and have an existing balance in the account before this credit is applied. In addition, it can take up to 72 hours to process the credit before it is reflected in your account balance.

    • Average Daily Click Charges - View the average daily click charges for your account.
    • Estimated Account Depletion - View the estimated number of days until your account balance is depleted.

Setting Date Ranges

To set the date range for campaign statistics:

  1. Click the Dashboard tab. The Dashboard page opens.
  2. Select the calendar icon. The Select Date dialog box opens.
  3. Select a start date from the calendar on the left and an end date from the calendar on the right.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. The dates you selected are applied to the Dashboard. The campaign statistics and the performance graph will only display data within the selected date range.

Viewing Campaign, Ad Group, and Keyword Lists

Use the dropdown list in the table to display your top campaigns, ad groups, and keywords. You can also view the items that you have added to your watch list. You can choose from the following lists:

  • Top Campaigns
  • Top Ad Groups
  • Top Keywords
  • Watched Campaigns
  • Watched Ad Groups
  • Watched Keywords

Note: By default, the Top Campaigns, Top Ad Groups, and Top Keywords lists are sorted by cost. If you would like to sort by a different statistic such as CTR or Clicks, select the column header that corresponds to the statistic to sort.
