Performance by Geographic Location Report

The Performance by Geographic Location Report allows you to see where the traffic to your account is coming from for your selected tactics (All, Sponsored Search or Content Match). The data encompasses consumers’ geographic locations on an aggregated level (e.g., where they are located) and their geographic intent (e.g., includes search terms or web page content that implies a geo-specific interest such as, “Las Vegas vacations”).

You can identify key geographies with this report, and then utilize the geo-targeting feature to tailor your messages.

  1. To run this report, go to the Reports tab and select “Performance by Geographic Location.”
    1. Select a date range for the report.
    2. Select the geo-level (state/province or city and surrounding area) and tactic (All, Sponsored Search or Content Match) for the report.
    3. Click “Go.”

  2. The result will be impressions, click, click-through rate (CTR), average cost-per-click (CPC) and cost data for the geo-level and tactic you specified.
  3. To graph your results:
    1. Choose the graph type (bar or trend) and the metric that you would like to graph.
    2. Select “update graph.”
  4. To download your report in CSV for Excel, CSV, TSV or XML, select “Download This Report.”
