  7. The "Set a Bid" pop-up window will appear. This window will allow you to set a:
    1. Default Bid: You can apply the ad group bid to the selected keyword.
    2. Custom Bid: You can enter a custom bid for the selected keyword.
    3. Please note that this new custom bid will override the default ad group level bid for the selected keyword.
  8. To get an estimate of how many clicks you might expect for any particular bid, select either “Use Default Bid” or “Specify Custom Bid” (if you specify a custom bid, enter the bid amount in the box). Click “Estimate.” Note: You can also use the Current Bids: Top Available Position data on the right to help guide your bidding strategy.
  9. You will then be able to see the estimated monthly clicks, estimated average position and share of available clicks associated with that bid. You will also see the estimated average CPC (cost-per-click) for that bid. Please remember that these are estimates only and are not guarantees.
  10. If you are satisfied with your bid, click “Submit.” Otherwise, enter in another bid amount and click “Estimate” or slide the bar on the graph to the right to change your bid.
