Setting Keyword Status

Your keyword status determines whether your keyword is “on” or “off.” To set your keyword status:

  1. Click the "Campaigns" tab.
  2. Choose a campaign.
  3. Choose an ad group.
  4. Once you are on the Ad Group Details page, you will see the list of keywords in that ad group.
    1. Check the box next to the keyword(s) for which you would like to set the status. To select all of your keywords, select the box in the upper left next to the Keyword column. You can filter the list first (using the search box) to find the keywords you’re looking for.
    2. Click the "Pause" button if you want to temporarily pause your keyword, or
    3. Click the "Unpause" button if you would like to reactivate a keyword that has been 'paused'.
    4. You will then be given the option to confirm your changes.

The table below displays all available status for keywords in your account.
