When editing a configured report view, you can automatically generate reports that are based on that configuration view and have them emailed to you. The reports are based on the time period you select when you create the schedule. You can verify this email address on the Preferences page.
Note: If reports are larger than one megabyte, they cannot be emailed to you as file attachments. Instead, our system will send an email notifying you of the problem and providing guidance on how to generate the report from within the application.
To schedule reports:
- Click the “Reports” tab
- Click the “Saved Report Views" subtab.
- Apply a report filter, if neccessary.
- Find the name of the report view and then click its corresponding “Edit” link.
- Check the Schedule Saved Report field to run this report view automatically.
- Send an email with the report attached: If you are receiving a scheduled report via email, select the frequency for sending the report.
- Attach report as: If you are receiving a scheduled report via email, select the file format for the report. The file format should be based on the application with which you will view the reports.
- Date range for report data: If you are receiving a scheduled report via email, select the time period on which to base the generated report.
- Click “Edit”.
