The campaign tune-up performs on-demand analysis of your campaign. It looks for ways to adjust keyword bids, corresponding match types and daily spending limits to help optimize your campaign according to your performance goals. After you specify your campaign’s performance goals, you can initiate the analysis of your campaign for tune-up. To tune your campaign, follow these steps:

The campaign tune-up runs in the background. First, the tune-up takes a snapshot of your campaign’s current settings, and then begins the analysis. For all Sponsored Search keywords, the tune-up establishes bid and match type recommendations that best meet your performance goals and specified monthly budget. The analysis also factors in your campaign’s performance history and estimated future performance.
Once your proposal is ready, you can decide whether or not you want to accept or reject the entire proposal. Note that while the tune-up is in progress, you should not change your campaign in any way (e.g., removing or adding keywords, etc.). If you accept the proposal, the tune-up updates your campaign with the suggested changes.
Note: Content Match ad group bids will remain unchanged. The tune-up proposal does, however, factor your Content Match spend (based on historical data) into the proposed campaign daily spending limit. Also note, Campaign Tune-up is available to advertiser accounts at least 90 days old.
