There must be a strong, direct relationship between keywords and the content, purpose and theme of your site. Choose keywords that best describe what's on your site to attract users who want what you offer.
- Choose keywords that accurately reflect the products or services sold through your site.
- Choose keywords that clearly reflect only the substantial information on your site.
- Choose keywords that include your location if you serve fewer than four states (e.g. "arizona florist" or "seattle plumber").
- If you choose keywords that may be trademarks, make sure your site and titles and descriptions meet our Trademark Policy.
- If you choose keywords that describe compatible parts or accessories designed for branded products, the landing page must state the brand compatibility and not mislead users into thinking they are getting a branded product. Also, the title must state that the part or accessory is compatible and must not mislead users into thinking they are getting a branded product, or that the advertiser is affiliated with the brand owner.
