The billing method depends on the payment option you choose for your Product Submit account. You will be prompted to choose one of the following payment plans during Step 5 of the sign-up process:
- Manual Payment Plan—You may choose to have your credit card charged only when you make a manual payment to your Product Submit account. You must make a minimum payment of $250.00 each time you add funds to your account. If you select this option, Yahoo! will never automatically charge your credit card and your products will be dropped from Yahoo! Shopping if you do not keep funds in your account.
- Automatic Payment Plan— If you choose the Automatic Payment Plan, you must pre-authorize Yahoo! to charge your credit card a minimum of $250.00 to maintain your account.
For example: You could request that Yahoo! charge your credit card $250.00 when your account balance falls to $50.00 or below.
Please Note: Yahoo! will not bill you more than once a day, so be sure the amount you add to your account will cover at least a few days' clicks.
- Monthly Payment Plan—You may choose to have Yahoo! charge your credit card each month to bring your balance up to a pre-specified amount. Your card will be charged on the same day of each month that you selected the monthly payment plan: if you choose the plan on September 15th, your credit card will be billed on the 15th of every month thereafter. Your card will only be charged the amount necessary to return your balance to the specified level.
For example: if you set an optimal balance of $500 and after a month your balance is $150, Yahoo! will charge your credit card $350.
Please Note: If the amount to be billed is less than $5.00, Yahoo! will not bill your credit card that month.
