Set Your Ad Group Bid

Use the Set Your Ad Group Bid page to define a bid for your ad group during the Create Campaign and Create Ad Group process for your Mobile Sponsored Search account. Once you have created your ad group, you can edit this ad group bid by selecting your ad group and clicking the Bid button in the Campaign Details page.

To Specify an Ad Group Bid

You can specify an ad group bid to apply to the keywords in the selected ad groups. Your bid is the maximum amount you are willing to pay each time your ad is clicked.

To specify an ad group bid:

  1. While creating your campaign or ad group, open the Set Your Ad Group Bid page.
  2. In the Set Your Ad Group Bid page, you can specify an ad group bid for Mobile Sponsored Search.
    • This will serve as the default bid for all keywords in your ad group, across all selected carriers for that ad group.
    • A chart will display estimated monthly forecasts to help you make a decision on the bid. This forecast chart will show data aggregated across all carriers in your market.
  3. Click the Next button.

Note: You can override the Ad Group default bid, and set carrier-specific bids for the Ad Group at the “Review Ad Group” step of campaign creation. To set carrier-specific bids on the Review Ad Group page, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the bid value that corresponds to the carrier for which you want to override the default Ad Group bid
  2. On the resulting screen, entire the desired carrier-specific bid, and save the changes
  3. Repeat for any other carrier(s) for which you may want to set a carrier-specific bid
