Use the Account General Information page to view basic information for your Mobile Sponsored Search account.
When an account status is On, eligible ads in the account may be displayed. When an account status is Off, ads in the account should not be displayed.
Note: If you turn your account status from On to Off, all campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads will still maintain their individual status settings independent of the account status, but none of the ads in your account will be displayable to users. Once you turn the account status from Off to On, all campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads with the appropriate status (i.e., Active) can start to be displayed again.
For this reason, you cannot look at an ad with ad status Active to determine whether it is currently being displayed to users. To troubleshoot, check the account status first, then the campaign status, then the ad group status. If any of these are Off or Paused, the ad may not run even if its status is Active. Additionally, look at the carrier settings at each level; for an ad to be served to users of a carrier, that carrier must be selected (Online) at all levels.
To change the account status:
The display URL appears at the bottom of your ad. Please note that our publishing partners have the option to exclude display URL. You can set a default display URL here in the Account Information page. When you are creating ads in your account, this default value automatically populates the display URL field on the Create Your Ad page. You may, of course, overwrite this default URL during the ad creation process.
Note: Changing the display URL in the Account General Information page does not update previous display URLs in existing ads. The new or changed display URL applies only to new ads.
You can specify whether or not you want the system to display alerts for particular categories. For each of the following categories, you can select On to enable the alert or Off to disable the alert:
Note: Account alert preferences are different from email notification preferences. Account alerts control whether or not the alert is generated in the first place. Email notification preferences determine whether or not you will receive an email notification when an alert is generated.
