Why should I add mobile to my advertising mix?

As consumers increasingly use wireless devices to access information, a huge opportunity is created for advertisers to connect with this growing market. More and more people are spending time on their mobile devices, away from traditional media. Many of these people are using mobile as their primary channel to access the Internet. As an advertiser, you need to be able to reach them when they’re not plugged in.

  • The number of US mobile subscribers is expected to grow to 19% to 246 million, or 4 out of every 5 people, by 2010.
  • There are twice as many mobile phone users as computer users worldwide—and that could grow to three times as many by 2010. (Source: Mobile - Jupiter Research 2005 and PC Internet, eMarketer, 2007)
