Results Pages, or Search Results Pages, are the pages Yahoo! Local displays in response to local searches by Yahoo! users. Results Pages generally have a Sponsor Results section that might include Featured Listings and a section with natural results from the Yahoo! Local Search Index, which is made up of listings submitted through Local Listings and selectively gathered from other data providers.

Yahoo! displays the most relevant listings in Yahoo! Local for a particular user search. Yahoo! ranks results according to how well the listing information in the Yahoo! Local Search Index matches the user query and takes into account the distance from user's search location. Yahoo! cannot guarantee that your listing will be displayed on the Results Page for any particular user queries. However, the more complete information you provide when you create your listing, the easier it is for the Yahoo! Local search algorithm to match user queries to your listing.
