What's in the Dock Settings Menu?

Move the cursor over the dock and then click the gear icon at the top or right of the dock. A menu appears. Click a menu item from the following:

Open Widget Lists the Widgets you can open. Click one to display it on your desktop.
Recent Widgets Lists the Widgets you've used. Click Clear Menu to reset the list.
Get More Widgets Opens the Gallery Browser Widget. See What is the Yahoo! Widget Gallery Widget? for more information.
Auto Hide Dock Makes the Dock slide off the edge of the desktop when you're not using it. Move the cursor to the edge to bring the Dock back.
Dock Always On Top Keeps the Dock always visible.
Anchor Dock Moves the dock to the left, right, top, or bottom edge of the desktop.
Close Dock Makes the dock disappear. You can open it again with the System menu.
Preferences Opens a window for setting controls for the dock and the Yahoo! Widget application.
Check for Updates Looks for updates to the Yahoo! Widgets application.
Help Opens a browser for displaying Widget Dock help.
Send Feedback Opens a browser form where you can tell us about Yahoo! Widgets.
Tour Opens a browser for a presentation about Yahoo! Widgets, especially its new features.
About Yahoo! Widgets Opens a window providing version information, links to more information, and credits. Click the window to close it. In OS X, this item is at the top of the list.
Sign In
Sign Out/Change User
Opens a window for providing your Yahoo! ID and password.
Exit Yahoo! Widgets Shuts down the Yahoo! Widgets application.
