The Yahoo! Widgets Preferences window has tabs for general settings, dock settings, and advanced settings. After you change a setting, click Save.

| Proxy Settings | The No proxy option should be used when you want traffic to go directly to the Internet. The Use IE proxy settings option detects proxy settings required by your network, if applicable, and uses them without your needing to set them. This is the initial option. The Use specific proxy option when you know what the proxy is and you don't want to use IE proxy settings. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, for example, you might want to use this option. |
