When you register for Yahoo! Travel, and each time you book a ticket, hotel room, or car, Yahoo! will share your registration information with Travelocity for purposes of travel booking. Travelocity might make other uses of this information for which Yahoo! is not responsible. For details on Travelocity's use of user information, see Travelocity's privacy policy. For more information on Yahoo!'s use of member information, see the Yahoo! privacy policy.
It's very important that you provide accurate information when registering for your account. If you ever forget your Yahoo! ID or password, we need to confirm your identity using the birthday, ZIP Code, and Challenge Question and Answer that you provided during registration. In addition, Yahoo! Travel uses this email address to send a confirmation with important information about your itinerary for every reservation that you make.
You can also elect to store your credit card number with Yahoo! Travel. If you have a stored card, making travel reservations is faster and smoother because it isn't necessary to re-enter you card and have it checked each time you make a reservation. This process is safe because we store all of your personal information, including your credit card in a secure place. When you're in the process of making a reservation on Yahoo! Travel, we pass your personal information to the reservations server over an encrypted secure connection (look for the https:// in the URL).
